From Monday through Thursday of this week Paula and I were in Indianapolis at the home office of our sending agency, Free Methodist World Missions. As many mission agencies do, they require us to go through a “debriefing” process upon finishing a term of service. One of the young men we’ve been training was baptized on [...] As part of my oversight role in the Carpathian Basin region (Romania, Hungary, Slovakia), I made avisit this weekend to our colleagues in Bratislava, Slovakia, Josef and Lynette Sykora and their two boys, Simon and Luke. It also happened to be Simon’s birthday weekend (he turned 3 years old), so on Saturday I accompanied the [...] Two weeks ago now, after returning home from visiting another church here in Arad, I discovered that I was missing an earring.
